Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am mainly in charge of outdoor lighting designing and also involved in planning and sales promotions of new products.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
I feel delighted when the lights are turned on at the site and I see our clients being excited about it.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
Just like any other jobs, things don't go the way I want.
For example, most of our new product plans do not go as planned; the cost, the design, and functional aspects must be reorganized to put the plan into practice. By understanding what is causing the gap between the reality and ideal, then refining the product based on the characteristics and priorities of the product is a challenging task but also very interesting and fun.

I feel that many people are unique and special ... (laughs)
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
I would like to see more landscapes and spaces being beautifully lit up with our illumination designs.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am mainly in charge of designing and developing lighting equipment based on the drawings from the planning division.
But not only that, I also make estimates for the parts I need, manage the delivery time, and passing it over to the manufacturing division; a necessary task for launching the products.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
I find it very satisfying when my idea of structures actually works on a designing base or when I see the finished product.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
It is necessary to interact with a lot of people to launch a product. Especially when dealing with our Chinese factories, I need to have a firm idea of what I want and tell them in details. This can be somewhat challenging for me.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
There are times when I do unexpected tasks because our company culture motivates us to constantly challenge ourselves into new things.We sometimes participate as event staffs at amusement parks in winter, where we decorate the park with Digitec's illumination lights.
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
Lighting units are interesting products that are combined with various elements.
A lot of our products are being designed with much focus on their designing and I would like to continue to acquire the elemental technologies so that I can keep on taking part in these products.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am in charge of the overseas sales, the international trade and the management of our overseas factory in China.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
You can experience the culture of other countries when you are in charge of an international business. You can also learn the various ways of thinking by interacting with staffs of our branch offices and feel more strongly toward the value of our LEDIUS brand. I like the fact that my actions can change the situation.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
The cultural difference makes it somewhat difficult to exchange and share the same thoughts with each other.
I need to be very careful to choose my words every time and double check to make sure my requests are being clearly understood.
My creativity and activity is the key to deal with problems which varies day by day even in the same circumstances in the same business.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
Our company had been first started by the members from other industries who were enthusiastic towards manufacturing. It is fun to work in this unconventional environment where you can do and create new things.
"From product development to sales activities, you can see that our staffs are making most of their various experiences and abilities.
You can say that it is our special feature that allows each division to deal and solve every aspect as a team."
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
My dream is to light up all around the world with our Japan-made design brand: LEDIUS lighting.
My goal is to establish a system based on overseas factories where our products can be shipped worldwide.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am in charge of production planning, checking the finished products, and inspecting incoming products from both domestic and overseas.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
We have to handle a wide variety of products of small lots in our factory so we have to carefully set the production plan to carry out the process smoothly.
I feel a sense of accomplishment when all the process go as planned by arranging staffs and materials perfectly from one order to another.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
It is necessary to give instructions that match the skills and proficiencies of the worker.
The instructions/explanations must be passed along precisely so as not to mislead them to unintended results. It is very important and also hard to give instructions that are easy to understand.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
The workers here are of a wide age group but we can talk to each other without having to worry about hierarchical relationships.
I think that our company is open to new ideas. If you want to try something new, you go and raise your hand and you might get a chance to be entrusted with it. I find it very satisfying.
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
We work hard day after day at our manufacturing site to ensure that our products will reach our clients without a flaw.
I would like to continue to improve our products' quality so that our clients can use it safely with satisfaction.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am in charge of cutting out the letters and logos of our clients' brands by using a laser machine. I also participate in developing new products and making prototypes.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
I feel a sense of accomplishment when I see the LED signs which I've worked on are lit up on shopping malls such as AEON and outlet shopping centers or on restaurants where I normally visit.Sometimes I get to work on signs for famous brands that everyone knows, and that makes me feel proud.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
I am a mid-career worker so I had a hard time at first to get used to operating the machines because I used to have a completely different job.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
I think the boss and the subordinates, seniors and juniors, all have a friendly relationship with each other, in a good way.
It is a workplace where everyone's opinions are welcome, even those from young employees.
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
I mainly deal with LED signs for large commercial facilities, but I also handle nameplates for households.
I'd like to create a bright and fun atmosphere by ways of signboard production for those who visit stores and even when they're at home.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I make LED Signs.
I am mainly in charge of the soldering work.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
I feel fulfilled when I actually see the illuminated sign lightening up the store.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
LED signs are custom-made, not mass-produced. Because of this, it can be challenging when we have to manufacture a product in a short delivery period.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
I think it is an enjoyable workplace because there are a lot of unique and interesting people.
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
I'd like to brighten up a lot of people's life with our signs.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am in charge of proposing ideas for environmental signs and store signs. I also sell lighting products related to these signs.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
I feel fulfilled when I find the product that I was in charge of are actually used in public places.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
There are many products with short delivery periods especially when there is a delay in taking a decision of the product design. It can be challenging when I can't carry it out the way I had planned.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
Our company culture is based on teamwork, so instead of handing out budgets to individual sales, we have to work as a team. It is important to cooperate with each other within the company.
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
The share of this industry still has plenty of potential so I'm looking forward to brightening up all the commercial facilities with our products.
Q1) Please tell us about your current role and position.
I am mainly in charge of the LED Signs estimation duty.
I also respond to our clients' inquiries and inquiries from our branch offices along with drawing designs and receiving orders.
Q2) What's the most fulfilling aspect about your work?
I feel excited and satisfied when I find our products being sold at a store, especially when I unexpectedly find them when I'm on a trip.
Q3) What is the most challenging part of your job?
The design and specifications are difficult to decide, so the production periods are sometimes shortened.
Since my position requires me to put the designs through from planning to manufacturing, I need to be cautious to pass the clients' requests precisely as well as speedily. So it makes me very happy when I am able to deliver our products smoothly.
Q4) Please describe the company culture of Takasho Digitec.
It is inspiring because there are people who can do detailed work like craftsmen do.
The workplace has a relaxing atmosphere where you can exchange information by chatting with colleagues.
Q5) What are your future goals at Takasho Digitec?
I hope more people will know about our business and our LED signs and lighting products. I would be so happy to help create and brighten up many places with our product.
